At the time, many pro drivers used his shocks on their manufacturers’ 1\/8th scale buggies. The tapered design directs the flow of oil during compression more efficiently, compared to a flat wall, allowing for smoother shock operation. It also allows for oil to be under the piston on full stoke landings to help prevent cavitation. We have been successfully using this internal design since the release of our TLR 13mm shock bodies.
